Sunday School
St Andrews Sunday School takes place in the Church Hall during the 9:30 Sunday service. The children sit together in the front pews at the beginning of the service and sing the first hymn, with the congregation, before moving to The Lady Chapel for their lessons.
There are three groups 4-6 years, 7-9 years and 10-11 years. There is also a crèche, available.
During the offertory hymn the children rejoin the congregation, in the pews, opposite the choir, where they have a good view of the preparation for communion.
After the final communion prayers the children show their work to the congregation and discuss their learning and close by leading a prayer. A final hymn is sung then the children process out followed by the choir, Reader, servers and priest.
